Natural Gas Grills
A natural gas grill connects directly to your home's gas supply, giving you an unlimited fuel source that never runs out mid-cook. No tanks to swap, no propane to track, no trips to the refill station. You turn the valve, hit the igniter, and cook — every time. For permanent outdoor kitchen installations, natural gas is the most convenient fuel option available.
All of the grills we carry — from Summerset, Fire Magic, TrueFlame, American Made Grills, WildFire, and AOG — are available in natural gas configurations. The cooking performance is identical to their propane counterparts; the only difference is the orifice sizing and connection fitting. A licensed plumber can run a dedicated gas line from your home's supply to your outdoor kitchen, typically using 3/8 or 1/2-inch black iron or CSST flexible gas line.
When to Choose Natural Gas
Natural gas makes the most sense when your home already has gas service and the outdoor kitchen is positioned reasonably close to the house. The upfront cost of running a gas line is a one-time investment — after that, you never pay per tank again, and the per-BTU cost of natural gas is significantly lower than propane. Natural gas is also the cleaner-burning option and the better choice if you're running multiple gas appliances in your outdoor kitchen (grill, side burner, pizza oven) since a single gas line can supply all of them.
